Re: The Ultimate Fighter 9: Team USA vs. Team U.K. Ok this episode Dana and Henderson were in Vegas for the Team USA who as Dana described it best "Got off to a pretty F-in S--ty start" Welterweight Christian Fulgium failed to make weight and was replaced. Lightweight John-David Shacklefold was taken to the doctors with something on his foarhead that he found out was herpes, so he was forced to leave and be replaced. Only six fighters fought their way onto to team USA because the two were replacements didn't fight on this episode they will fightn next week. Here is Team USA WELTERWEIGHTS Mark Miller Jason Pierce Damarques Johnson LIGHTWEIGHTS Richie Whitson Santino DeFranco Cameron Dollar I hope Team USA gets better because I like this country and I really don't like Bisping. But the UK look way more exciting, way more pumped to be there and just plain better. Hendo has his work cut out for him Last edited by bears9 : 04-16-2009 at 12:33 AM.

Re: The Ultimate Fighter 9: Team USA vs. Team U.K. Oh next week is a can't miss, the TV preview hints it but the UFC has leaked video. Next week their will be the UK coming to the house and the Final two Team USA spots being decided. One of the Team USA replacement is a lightweight named Robert Browning, little brother of last seasons' conversal fighter, Junie Browning he went on drunk and violent rampages but never got kicked off. Rob Browning will do something that involves throwing eggs from what I've seen and always be holding a beer so thats nice. I can't wait to see if the next TUF nut job makes the show

Re: The Ultimate Fighter 9: Team USA vs. Team U.K. Bear9 dont know what to say but, I watch the fight between Kyle Reid and Frank Letser(spelling) it was getting good. But I can't believe Kyle knocked himself out. As for the other match between Rob Browning and Jason Dent,They just danced around, I figured there would be more fighting I was very disappointed with Rob Browning. He didnt do a dang thing except curl up in a ball while Jason Dent kept pounding on him. I hate to say this, but that kid should stick to throwing eggs. He was saying how tuff he was and well look what happen, I missed the first two eposides. I forgot all about it.

Re: The Ultimate Fighter 9: Team USA vs. Team U.K. Lilac's post pretty much some up the episode. The guys get to the house, they make a deal for no pranks (damn, now there won't be anything the first 30 minutes of the episode) Rob Browning thros eggs at people and everyone hates him and they want him gone. Kiel Ried knocks himself out, which kind of sucks because that Frank Lester guy seems like a real ass. I don't want him on my TV for three monthes, but come on knocking yourself out, that's a terrible way to go. Then Frank doesn't even let go his he wanted to rip off. Rob Browning what I can say, he looked on the feet than he got hurt or something and curled up into a ball, that's all there is to it. He got hurt he quit. But he wasn't better than Jason Dent any way, as opposed to last year when Junie Browning was the better fighter but lose because he quit. Team USA picks the first fight and they begin getting ****ed at Bisping, I can't blame them he's being really douchy.

Re: The Ultimate Fighter 9: Team USA vs. Team U.K. After I watched tonights eposide, I think UK is too much into themselves. As for the match, I thought for sure USA was going to win that match. He was doing pretty good for awhile. Untill the end were UK knocked him out. He brought his leg up out of know where. That was quick. I was surprised at that. Hopefully next week USA takes them down.

Yes Team UK is way too cocky it's mostly just Bisping though, he's a major douche. But do I like the stuff Team USA did where they drew battle lines and anything in neutral ground is fair game for pranks. Writing on the David Faulker's shirt and Ross Pearson wrestling boats. But go USA next week |

Re: The Ultimate Fighter 9: Team USA vs. Team U.K. Here we go, Michael Bisping continued his trash talking, saying stuff like thats not our only win and crap. This provoked Jason Dent of Team US to get rally the troops, but the troops werent buying, saying we're all here our reason, we aint a team" First Fight of the episode Bisping picked Andre Winner of his team to face Santino DeFranco, who's survived a tramatic brain injury. But it was all winner who landed a bunch of unanswered strikes and got a first round TKO victory for Team UK. Than it was back to welterweights. Bisping picks DeMarqous Johnson of Team USA to face Dean Amasingmer from Team UK. But for some reason when it was fight day. Michael Bisping was no where to be found and that didn't help Dean, because Johnson submitted with a first round triangle choke. Finally getting Team USA on the board. Go America

Re: The Ultimate Fighter 9: Team USA vs. Team U.K. Bisping explained why he wasn't at the last fight saying he'd been having trouble sleeping ever since he got their and he didn't get much sleep one night and then later in the day he took a nap just passed out. And that he felt incredibly bad and was really ****ed about how it went and that he couldnt be there. Bisping gets the pick and chooses to have Martin Stapleton for Team UK to face Cameron Dollar on Team USA. Dollar is hated by the UK team and half of the US Team. Bisping said Stapleton was his most well-rounded guy and probably could stop Dollar's takedowns. A few of the commentary from the UK said Stapes was just a monster and could kill Cameron. Cameron is a wrestler and Dan was pretty confindent that he could win this fight as long as he stuck the the game plan of clinch and shoot. Cameran admitted he gets realled scared before fights and has large adrealine dumps. The fight was pretty short, Cameron hit a nice combination that dropped Stapes they sprawled that resulted in them clinching and Cameron dominating the clinch and taking Stapes’ back where he landed a few punches and got a first round rear naked choke. Evening the score 2-2 Henderson got to choose the next the fight at welterweight and he choose Frank Lester to face James Wilks. All of Team USA just hates Wilks because he was born in Britain but lives and trains in California. Members of Team USA even offered Frank 100 dollars for one of Wilks’ teeth he knocked out. So the first round of the fight starts with some good exchanges, most of which Frank won, he hit one that dropped Wilks. He looked like he was going to finish it but they sprawled and after a couple of leg lock attempts Wilks got side-control he sat in side control look for a kimura for a while before he got over-aggressive and went for a leg lock that resulted in the fight being stood-up. More of Frank winning exchanges and a bunch of clinching follows. Wilks scores a judo-throw and then pounds elbows from half guard. Then between rounds, Frank can’t come back out and Bisping begins to yell he can’t fight it’s over but the refs takes a look and Frank lost a tooth that got jammed in his mouthpiece and it would fit in his mouth. They got it back in and round 2 begins. Again they throw some nice combinations, this time with Wilks coming out on top, then they clinch where James also dominates, the break up for the cage and Frank is just gassed. Wilks takes him down and eventually gets an arm bar in probably the best fight of the season so far 3-2 UK

Re: The Ultimate Fighter 9: Team USA vs. Team U.K. It loooked like they were building up that it would be Priece vs. Faulkner talking about Pierce's foot injury and everyone else in the house calling him a puss and saying he has no balls and probably wouldn't fight. But Faulkner didn't get it well either because he hit himself during one of Bisping's sledgehammer training's. He now has something wrong with his leg. They show'd it on the show and it looks like his calf muscle switch to the front of his leg. Then they did the coaches challenge, this year it was 6 games of tennis. I don't know much about tennis but it was bad, really bad. Henderson got the United States the win they wanted, 6-2. To which Bisping responded oh well I'll get him July 11th. For the fight Bisping chooses Ross Pearson from his team to face Richie Witson from Team UK. The fight starts with them banging around on their feet. Some good stand-up but Ross takes Richie down and they quickly get back-up into a clinch. Richie dominates from the clinch they trade again for a little while before another clinch this time Richie goes for a guillotine before getting taken down then as it comes back up Ross hits Richie was an illegal knee. Getting him a point deducted. They stand and trade for a while, the exchange being about even before Ross gets another clinch take down, this time he takes Richie's back and begins to pound. Only to end turning his choke into an arm bar and forcing Richie to tap. 4-2 UK

Re: The Ultimate Fighter 9: Team USA vs. Team U.K. I thought the tennis match between Bisping and Henderson was pretty funny, You could tell neither one of them knew what they were doing, But Im glad Henderson won. As for the match, between Richie and Ross, I thought it would of been alot better. They did some good foot work, Ross did good taking Richie down. Then of course Ross takes Richie into a arm bar. Richie taps out. But all in all it wasnt that bad. But I thought for sure Richie would of won this one, before the match even started. I cant wait for July 11 !!!!

Re: The Ultimate Fighter 9: Team USA vs. Team U.K. Sorry for the latest I didn't see the episode until last night and was too tired to post the recap but here it is. They again built up Faulker vs. Pierce and it turns not only does the whole USA Team hate Pierce, Dan Henderson is getting tired of Pierce's negative attitude. But there is trouble at UK camp with Faulker, not his impolding foot, but he has a gag reflex that won't let him keep his mouth piece in. Which really ****es off Bisping so he keeps yelling at him and he says just to keep in but he can't. It's kind of comical. Dan gets to choose the next fight and he decides to make the final lightweight match. Jason Dent of Team USA vs. Jeff Lawsom Team UK in hopes of pushing Pierce back far enough so his staff will heal up and he can fight. Then the funniest thing all season, the Triple Threat Team UK Pro Wrestling match and they look compeletey sober inronically. Dean Allemsinger vs. Dave Faulkner vs. Jeff Lawson. It was hilarious they just run threw the house slamming each other down and slapping each other. It was hilarious. It ends with Faulker suplexing Dean off the diving into the pool. Then Dana meets with Henderson and Pierce about whether or not Pierce will be able to fight. Pierces says his foot hurts but he good go if needed, sounding all depressed emo like. Dana and Dan both weren't sold on his abillity to fight. On to the fight, it comes out and they stand and trade for a little bit, Dent getting the better of the exchanges before Jeff takes him down and they both go for leg locks, but Jeff ends up in Jason's guard. He sits there and pounds the rest of the round expect for one double leg lock attempt ending up with Jason in Jeff's guard. Then in round 2, they stand and trade again, Jason definately winning the stand-up, Jeff goes for a takedwon, Jason graps for a guillotime in the sprwl postion, gators rolls it into an anaconda and Jeff taps getting Jason into the semi-finals and getting USA back in the game. UK leads 4-3 Then Dana makes the desicon to not let Pierce fight saying he thinks Pierce realized he wasn't fighter. Which is probably true. Pierce got a little bad but he wasn't punching stuff like guys who get forced off with injuries. He just threw his hat and cussed a few times. So next week either Mark Miller or Frank Lester will come back in his place against Dave. I'd guess it'll be Mark just because earlier in this episode Frank was eating ice cream and a UK asked him about his weight and he said it was 201 so I doubt he'd cut 30 pounds. So I expect Mark and they are building up the fight as the best of season so I can't wait for next week
