Yahoo! Sports in January, UFC President Dana White has confirmed that UFC 100 will take place in July in Las Vegas.
White confirmed the location of the historic event during a recent interview with Canadian radio network
CKAC Sports 730-AM.
White also indicated UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre (18-2 MMA, 12-2 UFC) will be defending his title at the event.
In Yahoo! Sports' previous report, Kevin Iole reported that White had committed to a July 11 date for UFC 100, as well as a return to the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas for the first time since July 2008.
While some early rumors had the UFC planning to put all five of the compnay's titles on the line for UFC 100 (which will actually be the company's 132nd event when including UFC Fight Nights and "The Ultimate Fighter" Finales), White has since indicated that will not be the case.
