Re: UFC Shamrock vs. Ortiz Didn't Ken Shamrock have a history in wrestling for the WWF or the CWC? I am not sure, since I don't watch wrestling that often. I don't want to look to weird, but didn't Shamrock die?

Re: UFC Shamrock vs. Ortiz Shamrock was a WWF wrestler for a while, not sure about CWC. And he's definitely not dead -- he's one of the coaches on Spike TV's Ultimate Fighter reality show. Of course, maybe that's a premonition about the outcome of his fight with Tito Ortiz!

Re: UFC Shamrock vs. Ortiz I use to watch Ken Shamrock on wrestling all the time. I never heard of CWC. As far as I remember he was always with WWF now WWE. He is too old to be doing this. Age is a factor on our quickness. Manny

Re: UFC Shamrock vs. Ortiz Shamrock worked for South Atlantic Pro Wrestling and some shoot fighting in Japan. Then he went to the UFC for their original events in 1993. Shamrock debuted with the WWF in 1997 as a special guest referee for the Submission match between Bret Hart and Steve Austin. Afterwards, he became a full-time wrestler. He left WWF around 2001 or so. He went to TNA and actually became the NWA Champion in 2002. I agree with Raquetball as far as the fact that his age is a huge problem at the moment. Reaction time is so important in fighting and when it's slowed even the slightest, you'll get hurt because of it.

Re: UFC Shamrock vs. Ortiz Sorry about the confusion, guys. I meant the WCW not the CWC. As you can see, I am not a big wrestling fan at all. All I remember about the WCW is Goldberg's face on the game, "Mayhem" for PS1.
