| Boxer Oscar Diaz in coma Boxer Oscar Diaz remains in a coma after collapsing before the 11th round of a USBA welterweight championship fight against Delvin Rodriguez. Diaz underwent surgery earlier in the week, and while his career is most likely over, and the good news is that his chance to survive are quite good. The fight had been televised on ESPN 2.
