A reminder for those interested, on NBC tonight at 9pm eastern, American Gladiators returns. It's a two-hour special (then the series moves to its normal slot of Monday nights) with hosts Hulk Hogan and Leila Ali.

The most popular female MMA fighter, Gina Carano is a gladiator on the show, known as "Crush."

Carano is scheduled to fight in February at the Elite-XC show.

Looks interesting, but I'm gonna have to pass. Just rented "We Are Marshall" and I can't wait to see it.

It did look interesting, but I watched the Sixers/Nuggets game, then a replay of a race from Michagan in 1992. It was great to see Kulwicki, Davey Allison, and Dale racing again.

I might catch the regular show when it starts!

How did Glenn Carano's daughter do?... I thought about watching and writing a review for another site...then I thought, gee, I rather spend those two hours of my life eagerly engaged in anything else...end up watching a rerun of "Everwood 1st season"...which shows what I think of the new series...

I checked out about 45 minutes of it. I only saw Carano in two events, the joust and a new game where the Gladiators throw medicine balls as the contestant runs across a tiny bridge.

Carano knocked one contestant off the platform in the joust and the other one stood for the whole time.

The new AG is nice, I won't watch every episode but it's interesting...I guess lol. Ali and Hogan come off way too scripted. The old school AG was better, easily.

I never liked the first one, and as soon as I found out the media hog, Hogan, was involved, I knew I would not watch it.

I wish Carano would stick to fighting. She was on her way to being something special.

I actually overall liked it. Hogan needs to go, but I'm willin to bet he is on there just to get an audience to tune in. They will have different people hostin in the next season.

The eliminator is different. It wore the hell out of the contestants. They were about to pass out when they finished. I'm not sold on powerball. The cylinders are bigger. You can actually shoot the ball in if you do it right.

The Gladiators are neat, and have some great names, except for the one named Hilga? It was out of place, but when you look at the woman it fits her.

It's on Mondays at 8pm on NBC for anyone interested. After watching this past Monday, some observations...

-Hogan and Ali are terrible hosts and their lines are so forced, it's worse than pro wrestling these days lol

-Some of the games are cool (the Pyramid, Assault, Joust) and the Eliminator is brutal, almost everyone is out of gas by the end

Yeah, the elimibator is wild. I watched sunday night in it's debut. The eliminator is wild. People were on the verge of passin out.
