“The Ultimate Fighter 1” runner-up and rising lightweight contender Kenny Florian (7-3 MMA, 6-2 UFC) will likely return to the octagon in February or March, and he’d be interested in fighting the winner of an upcoming bout between Clay Guida and Roger Huerta.
Florian spoke about his future plans to our friend Sam Caplan in an interview for CBSSports.com.
Florian, who spoke to Caplan during a recent MMA and Brazilian jiu-jitsu seminar near Philadelphia, hinted that the UFC will makes a decision on his future based on some upcoming fights, including the Huerta vs. Guida main event set for next month’s The Ultimate Fighter 6 Finale.
