November's UFC 78 will be headlined by an unexpected selection of fighters. In light-heavyweight action, Rashad Evans will fight Michael Bisping. Both are undefeated and winners of their respective Ultimate Fighter reality seasons.

The booking is unexpected because both fighters were thought to have other fights planned. Evans was thought to be in line for a rematch with Tito Ortiz after a draw several months back. However, it appears a contract dispute (or the fact Ortiz has yet to sign an extension...he has one fight left) was the snag.

Bisping defeated Matt Hamill last month in England in controversial fashion. Both fighters expressed a desire for a rematch however Hamill was though to have suffered a knee injury.

In any event, this fight looks pretty solid on paper.

I love both of these I think either could challenge Rampage this will be a very good fight with Shad winning

tito cant be wanting a title fight for his last fight could he?

lol Mervin, if he does, he's not getting it. UFC doesn't usually grant title shots to a guy if he has one fight left on his deal.

i know and this could get ugly since tito and white will not be on the same page wen it comes to contract talks

Tito has said he won't/is not talking with Dana White. Instead, Tito has spoken directly with the owners of the UFC, the Fertitta brothers.
