Empire, give me your input on this .... you know way more about the sport then i do .... i have never heard of most of these guys

would you agree with the list ...... any glaring omissions or someone ranked too high ?

I've only seen six of those guys listed (never even heard of Aoki). But Fedor should definitely be considered the #1 guy. He's looked at as the top dog in the sport. He's the most feared fighter (let alone, the heavyweight division).

Surprised Chuck Liddell was left off (even with his recent loss, he has to be considered one of the most dominant fighters in the world).

Melendez shouldn't be 3rd...definitely shouldn't be above guys like Hendo, Silva, Jackson and Gomi.

I'd put Dan Henderson #3 right now (with his big fight against Rampage next month having big ramifications on this list). The last we saw of him, he ended Wanderlei Silva's run as PRIDE champ at 205 lbs. and the only man in MMA to hold two belts in two different weight classes at the same time.
