This talk has been going on for a while now. Mayweather talks trash about UFC and how any average boxer can beat the top fighters in the UFC. UFC President Dana White (a former boxer and trainer himself) argues that's impossible. UFC fighters are trained in boxing, wrestling, judo, jiu jitsu, etc. and would tear a "one-trick pony' apart.

I'd have to agree with White. Mayweather doesn't have a clue what he's talking about.

Possible they're just working to promote a possible Mayweather UFC fight?

I don't think Mayweather is stupid enough to have an MMA fight. It would take until next year to prepare himself.

I think it's him trying to stir up some interest for his boxing fight among a group of people who otherwise couldn't care less about boxing right now.

Still, the De La Hoya/Mayweather fight should do record business on PPV.

Mayweather is out of his mind. The first jab he threw they would leg sweep him, knock him down, and put him in a submission hold. He would tap out in a second. I would pay money to see this.
