Question: Do any of you know the difference between a curve ball and a fast ball? I know it has something to do with the way the fingers are placed on the ball ... or is that a splitter ... or am I confusing this with the COT splitter?

I'm not asking for a detailed explanation, just wondering if all of you know the difference. Can you throw a baseball like the pros?

all pitches have different finger placement ....... the fastball is straight and fast ..... a curveball is a bit slower and dips dramatically downward

i havent really thrown a baseball in over 20 years, so no .... i cant throw like the pros

Yes, but about 15 mph slower...they would knock it over the wall in record time.
