| Re: 2007 World Series Colorado Rockies vs. Boston Red Sox Not making a prediction, but I wanted to pass along this stat: "Colorado outscored Boston 20-5 in winning two of three during an interleague series at Fenway in June." MLB - Cleveland Indians/Boston Red Sox Recap Sunday October 21, 2007 - Yahoo! Sports |

| Re: 2007 World Series Colorado Rockies vs. Boston Red Sox With that 20-5 stat heavy on my mind... I still think it's the Sox in 6. Beckett & Schilling win games 1 & 2. Dice-K loses what will probably be a close one in game 3. That knuckle ball in the thin, cold, crisp, Colorado air... hahaha... yeah right! I think Wakefield gets pulled in the 3rd inning after giving up 6+ runs. With the series tied 2-2, Beckett shuts 'em down to win game 5. Back to Fenway... Schilling keeps them in it for 7 strong and the Sox win it with the River Dancin' Pap on the mound! I'll go out on a limb... Beckett gets the WS MVP as well. |

| Re: 2007 World Series Colorado Rockies vs. Boston Red Sox The week off may hurt the Rockies who were flying high. There is no doubt after watching them close out the season and sweep through the 1st two rounds that they have a shot at winning. Defensively the Rockies are light years better than Boston, pitching wise Boston has the edge in starters but Colorado has the edge in the bullpen. Hitting wise the Rockies have some big hitters, but Boston has the edge. It should be a pretty competitive series, but then I thought that Arizona would be competitive also. Go Rockies!
