| NLCS Ratings Game 1 between the Rockies and the Diamondbacks was the lowest rated LCS game in baseball history. According to the Associated Press, "Colorado's 5-1 victory over Arizona on Thursday night received a 3.6 national rating, TBS said Friday... The previous low for a prime-time LCS game was 4.9, set by Game 4 of the AL championship series between the Chicago White Sox and the Angels on Fox in 2005 and matched by Game 3 of the NLCS between St. Louis and the New York Mets on Fox last year." | Re: NLCS Ratings Two small markets in comparison to others and a very boring team in the Dbacks. Plus it's hard to find what network these games are on and there are no consistent starting times. |

| Re: NLCS Ratings In Arizona, 80% of the people here grew up rooting for other teams. The Diamondbacks didn't exist when I was growing up, and I'm a transplant to the region much like many others. Add to it the fact that we have about 12 MLB teams that have their spring training homes in the area and you see a lot of reasons for fans to be loyal to other teams. Once the DBacks have been in the league for 20-30 years, they will have an established home base of fans that will root for only the DBacks and nobody else. I grew up an Angels fan, not a Dodgers fan, so I have no problem developng an allegiance to the DBacks in the NL.
