The Yankees return to the playoffs for the 13th consecutive year and must contend with the Cleveland Indians. The division series begins Thursday in Cleveland (time yet not official).

Game one will see Cy Young contender, C.C. Sabathia leads the Cleveland Indians against Chien-Ming Wang and the New York Yankees.

I'm looking forward to this series. Sabathia is the Indians' ace so they need to get a win here.

This will be a close series but the Yanks will somehow come up with the wins..

I think this will be closer than the Boston/Angels series. I definitely could see this going 4-5 games.

I wonder how the Yanks will handle that pen with guys like Pettite, Clemens, Mussina or any of the young guys.

Chamberlain in the 7th or 8th, how he handles the pressure will be key.

Ouch, a tough start to the series for the Yanks. The Indians came to bat tonight and who thought Kenny Lofton would be one of their most productive hitters? lol

Andy Pettite takes to the mound tomorrow once again with the Yanks down 1-0 in a series. He's made a career out of pitching in these situations.

i think tomorrow is a must win game for the Yankees ....... you dont want Clemens to pitch down 0-2 in the series and Wang's confidence may be shot a little so i wouldnt want to have to bring him back out down 1-2
