TBS announced their MLB playoff TV commentator crews and Skip Caray was left off. Instead, his son is among the groups of guys doing the division series' in both leagues.

The play-by-play guys include: Dick Stockton (does NFL games for FOX), Ted Robinson (USA tennis announcer, former Mets/west coast guy), Don Orsillo (Red Sox guy) and Chip Caray. The analysts include Tony Gwynn, Bob Brenly, Steve Stone and Joe Simpson.

Skip released a statement about his unhappiness saying, "It hurt my feelings, and I'm mad at myself for thinking there was any loyalty left in this business. I should have known better. They can do whatever they want to do, but I've done a lot of good work for these people, and it's hurtful that they apparently don't think I can do good work anymore."

I never heard Don Orsillo, but the other guys are all good..On the commentator side, I can really live without Bob Brenly, the guy adds nothing insightful to telecasts.

Orsillo is the Red Sox NESN announcer and even though I am a Yankees fan, he is very good.
