Sabathia has been pretty much an unstoppable force this postseason. Although he lost game 1, he pitched more than well enough to win. He shutdown pretty much everyone in the lineup except for Chase Utley. He will be going on 3 days rest, something he has proved he can do time and time again.

The Phillies will be pitching Joe Blanton, Manuel opted to give Lee the extra day of rest. That pretty much puts the game in the Yankees hands. Blanton made one start against the Dodgers in the NLCS, he gave up 3 earned runs in 6 innings, if he does that again, it will be very hard for the Phillies to win. Since C.C. will most likely give up about 2 runs in 8 innings.

Yankees win this one as the rock Blanton 6-2. Right now the series is 2-1, by this time tomorrow the Yankees should be 1 win away from their 27th World Series title! Lets go Yanks!!!!

You said the same thing about game 1 sabathia lost your being so bias its not funny do you know anything about Blanton?

He pitched well in game 1. Do you disagree with that? Also, I'm not even trying to not be bias. I'm a Yankee fan so I am rooting for them. Since when is bias not allowed on the forum? Please explain how one roots for their team without being bias? I never meant for this thread to be unbiased.

What do I know about Blanton? I know his postseason ERA for this year is about a 4.70. I also know he has never posted below a 3.50 regular season ERA. In fact he hasn't ended a season below 4.00 since 2007, and that was with the Athletics.

Want to hear what I know about Sabathia? I know Sabathia hasn't had a regular season ERA under 4.00 since 2005. He pitched 4 times this post season so far, 29.2 innings, he gave up 5 earned runs in those games. Thats a 1.54 ERA so far this postseason.

So what do you know about either of them?

I just don't see the Yankees deal of pitching three guys on three days rest each working out.

It also seems they can't us anyone in the BP other than Rivera.

I still see the Phils winning this thing. That Bullpen of the yanks has been awful, and you can tell the yanks are very reluctant to use anyone other than Rivera.

As good as he is, I think using him last night, even for only two outs, was a mistake.

Who knows when they are going to need/use him for another 6 out save.

Not a good combo when using only three starters, all on 3 days rest.

I think you need your starters at their peak to take on the Phils offense.

By the way A-rod, quit crying about being hit.

Chase Utley was hit 26 times this year, and never once posed at home plate afterwards.

Take first base llke a man.

Go Phils in Game 5, and lets take this one back to the Bronx, and give it our best.

I could care less about seeing any brawls! We'll save that for spring traning!

I know it's hard for A-Roid to handle, but the man still only has 3 hits in 4 games.

Why in the Bkue Blazes would we ahve it out for him!
