What does that have to do with anything? Atleast they are in the World Series. The New Yankee Stadium wasn't even that extravagant. The Nationals built one of the most expenisve baseball stadiums in history, they haven't made the play-offs, ever. The Mets built a new stadium, they didn't make the play-offs either. No many people have said the Yankees spent a lot of money on a new stadium. Their other one was built in 1927. Don't you think it was about time for a new one?

The Cowboys basically built a colliseum, they lost their first game against the Giants.
On top of that, it isn't like the staidums sole purpose is to make them win. You could have said a lot of other things that actually kind of made sense. Such as-
a. They spent so much money on Teiexera and he went 0-4.
b. A-rod is the highest paid player in baseball and he struck out 3 times.
c. They spent a huge amount on Sabathia and they still lost.
So many things you could have said. Even if you said any of those, my answer would be the same. THEY ARE IN THE WORLD SERIES. That is an accomplishment by itself. So please explain to me why the Yankees should play better because they "spent ALL that money on a brand new
staTium." Please explain why that should make them that much better, and please explain how the fact that they are in the World Series doesn't pretty much justify everything they did in the off-season. I already assume you have no answer.
