Dominican v. Venezuela Thread

Wow, the atmosphere is nothing short of amazing right now. It's like a World Series game...only in March lol. This Dominican line-up is scary tough with Soriano leading and Tejada hitting 2nd.

Great pitching by Santana, wow.

Still remember, these guys are not in regular form.

Guess Ortiz is a master of hitting anytime of the year.

How did Colon get out of that jam in the 1st? Lucky with the DP...wonderous.

Sometimes its better to be lucky then good, as they say!

Santana looked good in the first, but he's struggling now. It was a long inning for him, and that error didn't help matters. Nice K to end it though. Wonder who's pitching next inning.

Wow, what a game that turned out to be. Lots of offense, 11-5 win by the Dominican Republic. Ortiz and Beltre each homered twice, and there was even a bit of controversy over an almost home run. Incredible game, lots of fun to watch, but man is that Dominican offense scary! They are gonna be a tough team to beat in the WBC.
