Puerto Rico Wins in Tune-Up
The Puerto Rico WBC team won in an exhibition (pre-tournament) game against a split squad team of the New York Mets. Carlos Beltran played for Puerto Rico while Delgado didn't play at all.

The PR team has the talent to do some damage in the Classic. Although with Bernie Williams leading off, it's something to worry about. They do have a bunch of nice hitters though, Beltran, Delgado (if he's healthy enough to play), Pudge, Jose Cruz Jr., Alex Rios and one of the Cora brothers.

Puerto Rico begins their pool play on Tuesday versus Panama...they should win that one.
