| Re: Badgers vs. Akron Zips Things are going awry for the Badgers. A costly interception with just over 20 some seconds to go in the end zone by Everidge leads to big return by the Zips and a few plays later sets them up for a field goal. Badgers lead 17-10 at the half but the Zips put up 10 unanswered points. |

| Re: Badgers vs. Akron Zips Badgers regain their pride, come back after the half to win 38-17. Special teams looks weak, Zips had some good run backs. Badgers offensive line is big and do their job well. You have heard the term "an embarrassment of riches", well, that's the Badgers at running back. Put them behind that above mentioned O-line, and Badgers have an awesome run game. Badgers had over 438 yards of offense today. A big weakness I saw was they got a bit sloppy at the end of the half and end of the game. Last touchdown by the Zips shouldnt have happened. It would have saved everyone a lot of energy if the qb had just handed the guy the ball and everyone let him walk into the zone. In spite of that interception, I would like to see Everidge take a few more shots. Badgers now have 15 consecutive wins at home under Coach Bielema. |
