| How Wisconsin lost the game Davidson played a really great game. Wisconsin came out flat and stayed flat.Their trademark hard-nosed defense was absent. Their offense was a disaster. Then there was the ridiculous fouls such as when Stiemsma's premeditated forearm to an opponent's head. They made too many quick shots when they still had plenty of time. This team, noted for being well disciplined, had no discipline at all. The X’s & O’s of Basketball: How Wisconsin Lost the Game This was definitely not the same Wisconsin team I had seen earlier. They needed a bushel basket again, ball was bouncing off the rim, the backboard. They did everything but hand Curry the ball and help lift him up to make it easier. Not that that young gentleman needed any help at all. Davidson wanted it more I guess. Davidson was quick, and Wisconsin likes things a little slower. Oh yeah, the take aways. Davidson was better at that too.
