Wisconsin vs. Washington State

The Badgers open their 2007 season with a match-up against Pac-10 opposition in the Cougars. This is an eminently winnable game for Wisconsin, a team that boasts one of the Big Ten's best running backs in P.J. Hill and should challenge for a conference championship. I think they can win this one convincingly. What do you think?

Re: Wisconsin vs. Washington State

Wisconsin's come back to take a 21-14 lead now, though.

But that vaunted Badger running attack? It's produced just 32 yards thus far with under 5:00 left in the first half.

Re: Wisconsin vs. Washington State

Well, after that early scare, Wisconsin comes away with a 42-21 victory. The Badgers finished with 182 yards rushing and over 300 passing, including three touchdown tosses by QB Tyler Donovan. Luke Swan caught two of those scoring passes, as well as six others for a career-best 170 yards. Slow start for the Badgers, but in the end, they got the job done and earned a solid victory.
