| Schofield, Valai named MVPs of D Coach Bielema was pleased with the overall performance of the team against the Spartans, and named DE Brian Schofield and Safety Jay Valai the MVPs on defense. The two limited what many thought was a potent MSU offense. Next week in Minnesota, UW will face a team that rediscovered its powerful running attack this past weekend, going for 166 yards and three rushing touchdowns in a 35-24 victory over Northwestern.
