devin ebanks a wvu class of 2008 recruit for the bball team, is something like 13th overall player on scouts top 100, however on espns 150, he is not even on it. now look if you dont view him as highly as everyone else thats fine, but scout and rivals consider him a top 20 guy, and you have a 150 people better then him, i honestly hate espn i think they have become garbage, its always trying to break the story first, no longer trying to get the right sport stories across

Yes, they are. Oh, wait, there's a specific situation tied to this? I thought it was just a general question. Yeah, ESPN is a joke, ESPECIALLY when it comes to recruiting analysis. Why else would they always have guys from Scout or Rivals on their news channel discussing this stuff instead of their own "experts"? It just proves that they're more into the entertainment business, with their happy sappy boo-yah catchphrases than serious sports analysis these days.

You dont have to trust them on recruiting or draft analysis or even anything opinion wise. You can just watch to see whats going, highlights, and other sports news and make your own decision.

Yeah, I do, sometimes. I watch Mike & Mike and some of the events they show, like NASCAR. Sportscenter, not so much. It does make me wish there were more viable alternatives out there. I mean, when it comes to recruiting, Scout and Rivals are so much more reliable sources of information, and that proves to be the case in other areas quite often as well. I really miss CNN/SI... I used to really enjoy their reporting.
