WVU quarterback Pat White ran for 155 yards in yesterday's win over Cincinnati, becoming the first QB in Big East history to rush for at least 3,000 yards in his career. He's kind of been under the radar during the past several weeks, but in light of this, do you think White's still alive in the Heisman race?

No, probably not, but White does have 11 passing and 12 rushing. That ain't shabby.

Maybe Pat White will stay in close with the Heisman. It seems like it was McFadden all the way two weeks ago and now ESPN is gaga over Tebow.
Even if a person gets injured at the end of the year it seems to be a possible elimination.

I wish they would wait until after Jan. 5 to decide because to me Vince Young should have got the Heisman that year he was superman in the Rose Bowl.

Ohio State was blown out by Florida in the National Championship. Does that mean Troy Smith was actually the best player?

But we know they won't change their system so why go there?

I would hope if it is close, they give it to the upper classman who has played more years.

I would say Pat White still has a chance.

I hate to say it being a Mountaineer fan, but I don't think he has a chance. Because there don't seem to be many canidates with a shot this year, he may go to NY, but he won't win. That's got to be Tebow in my opinion.

Yeah, I agree. But if he can get WVU into the national title game, I'm sure that'll be okay with him.

The fact that Pat White may probably get to the NC because of his talent ability to energize the whole team should put him in higher recognition now for the Heisman.

When people don't respect him, all he does is prove them very wrong. Unfortunately there is there is the bias of people saying their conference is better. He deserves more respect.

Well, he should check with Tebow who is having one heck of a season both in the air and on the ground.
