| Re: West Virginia vs. Louisville This is the year of the upset. I haven't ever seen a year like this one. Notre Dame 1-8 or Kansas 9-0...who would have known? Kentucky beats LSU when ranked #1? Anything can happen. Louisville has had to play other teams with those teams playing like it was their national championship. The interesting thing on this game is Louisville doesn't have all the pressure on them. They can play spirited and with that additional adrinaline to make an interesting game. But I think this is WVU's year to go to the BCS to represent the Big East. Louisville played strong against UConn and Cincinnatti in hostile environments. Those two have proved to be pretty good teams. A well played game on both sides will help the Big East image. Louisville getting beat by 4 TD's??? To me, if WV builds a big lead in first half then they will win by 21. ...if they don't, they will win by 6. Either way West Virginia wins. |

| Re: West Virginia vs. Louisville Congrat's to WVU. Both teams deserve a lot of credit...wow..the drama in the past 3yrs between these teams. I think Louisville just increased their credibility in recruiting after this game; we needed it. It will be a rebuilding year for Louisville next year. White and Slaton and Brohm will be forever forged into my memory in the games they have played against each other. What talent!!! I predicted WVU would win by 6 if it was close at half-time; I predicted pretty good. Congrats Lefty Knob...I know you are happy. Hope WVU can make the Big East proud and make it to a BCS bowl. Let's keep Louisville - WVU a respectful rivalry; not a hate rivary as some in-state rivalry's tend to be. |
