Michigan wants Mountaineers' Beilein
From all indications, West Virginia's John Beilein is not just a candidate to be Michigan's next basketball coach. Beilein is THE candidate.

Michigan athletic director Bill Martin is not tipping his hand publicly, but he appears to have zeroed in on Beilein. There are a few hurdles to overcome before Beilein is introduced as the next coach. Beilein's Mountaineers just finished playing in and winning the NIT, so he has yet to have a face-to-face sit-down with Martin. When that happens, anything is possible.

He's THE guy Michigan wants, so I'm thinking the deal will probably get done, unfortunately.

and he is going to michigan, and now people are rooting for a rumor that says bob huggins might be coming here to replace him. The only reason why theres a possiblity to this is that wvu is bob's alma mater

No. Please, no. Huggins won at Cincy but the program was a mess. He's not worth it.

lefty i agree with you but lets list the reason why wvu would do this
-born in morgantown
-went to wvu
-first asst coaching gig at wvu
- his top recruit would go where he goes and espn has him listed at the #1 PF

i read the funniest post on another board today about this. How in the hell would wvu handle two egos like Rich Rodriguez and Bob Huggins

rivals has also hinted that their second and third choices are the coach from air force, and eastern kentucky, the eastern kentucky coach was beiliens ass since richmond till he left recently for eastern kentucky.
