WVU Mountaineers Big East Tournament

West Virginia opened the Big East Basketball Tournament with an impressive 92-79 win over Providence today, setting a tourney record with 17 three-pointers in the process and advancing as they look to keep their NCAA hopes alive. How far do the Mountaineers need to get in their conference tournament in order to make the field of 64, you think?

they gotta beat lousiville tommorow, problem is i dont know much about lousiville so i dont know how this is going to go they were hardly on in morgantown and wvu never played them this yr so it will be intresting to see

OMG we SOOOOOO beat louisville!! since the clock didn't start on time, that guy did NOT make the shot.

those officials were terrible...

sosa took 4 steps on the way to the hoop it should of been a travel , the clock im not mad about

After watching the Akron coach make a big stink over losing (which they did) ...why didn't WVU coaches? We had a ligit reason to. Sosa and his 4 steps and then the clock. Mountaineers deserve to make the 64 as the Big East has the strongest conference out there!
