Who's ready for FOOTBALL?

Another Ga. team is about to experience an outclassed, worthless, over-rated, hillbilly, back-woods football team from the "Weak" Big East.

I hope we "Luck-out" and win this game. Oh ya, Rutgers and Louisville are over their heads too... God help us all....

So break out the moonshine and the corn-cob pipes cause we are going Bowling. We're ready...are you?

Re: Who's ready for FOOTBALL?

Welcome to GoTeamsGo, rdg57, and thanks for joining us. WVU fans are always most welcome!

We're gonna have to be careful not to talk up the Big East too much, though. Rutgers is in a dogfight right now with K-State, 17-10 at the half. Here's hoping they hold on and do the conference proud.

Re: Who's ready for FOOTBALL?

I think that the Big East should go undefeated in the bowls this year, surprisingly most of the predictions seem to support that. I was spending some time on the Alabama boards when they were trying to take Coach Rod, the thing I noticed was that Bama fans feel that the SEC is the big boy football conference and Big East players can not play that kind of football. The ACC seems to have the same attitude. I am trying to not be like that about the Big East but we do have some teams that can compete with any other conference. Hopefully this bowl season will be the beginning of the proof. Let's Go Mountaineers!

Re: Who's ready for FOOTBALL?

honestly i think a big soloution for the big east is kicking ND out of the conference if they dont want to bring their football team over and in replacment bring another team from a midmajor conference over to compete in bball and football, i know its weird but maybe a marshall or a East Carolina Universty. We both know WV can support football, and i belive ECU is a program on the rise in football. I think extending the conference to atleast ten teams is very important. I think in your non major conferences ECU and marshall are the best two choices in the Big East Region. The only thing is you would have to lose another basketball school that doesnt have a football maybe providence or depaul

Re: Who's ready for FOOTBALL?

I agree wholeheartedly with your thoughts regarding ND. Honestly I would be happy if they left the conference.
