Classic trap game here for WVU. One week after Pitt and one week before the big showdown with Rutgers that may decide the Big East champion, the Mountaineers play 7-4 South Florida. This game scares me. Can Pat White and Steve Slaton led West Virginia to victory, or is this one an upset in the making?

usf is going to be very cautius with pat white.

Last year pat white had 90 passing yards and a td. but on the ground he had 177 and 2 tds and steve slaton only had 90 yards on the ground, i think there going to pay more attetion to pat white which this offense wants. I feel were going to see a huge game from mr slaton yet again, and will win by 14-21

Wow, in the second quarter the game is closer than I thought it ever would be. South Florida leads the Mountaineers 7-6.

Holy smokes, I just switched over to this game and I am dumb founded. 3 mins. left and USF is beating WVU 24-19.
Did Slaton and White play today?? What went wrong, WVU looking past FSU to Rutgers?

Terrible, terrible loss. USF is a decent team, but no way they should've beaten WVU. Mountaineers had four turnovers, if I remember right. They kept the game close in spite of it, but more often than not, you can't make that many mistakes and still hope to win. And now their BCS bowl hopes are down the toilet, and they may wind up in a pretty lousy postseason game if they can't beat Rutgers.
