| What's next for WVU? The Mountaineers couldn't take care of business and, sad to say, they were beaten by a superior team last night. Heartbreaking, really. I thought they had a shot. Now there's no title game, probably no BCS bowl or Big East title either. So how far do they fall in the polls? I'm guessing out of the Top 10. And how do they salvage the rest of the season?

| Re: What's next for WVU? You'd have to give a slight edge to Rutgers, playing at home and with an undefeated season in the balance. Louisville is a somewhat better team, but they figure to be less than their best emotionally---as Kirk Herbstreit would say, suffering "a hangover." |

| Re: What's next for WVU? Yeah, the Big East is pretty much wide up at this point. The winner of Rutgers - Louisville certainly has the inside track. What happens if the Knights beat the Cards, then lose to WVU? Which team would get the BCS bowl bid due the conference champ? |

| Re: What's next for WVU? Hey, L'ville - WVU was a great game - the Mountaineers dominated on the ground and Louisville dominated in the air. The punt return and the fumble return TDs are what did us in. But with the improvement of Cincy, USF, Rutgers, and Pitt, WHAT A GREAT CONFERENCE this is! Whether our conference winner can play OSU or Michigan in the champ. game, it gives us a great chance to pass up the SEC and start reversing the perception that they are the best conference in the country. What a joke - so let's prove it! |
