Nov 2nd. Who will win

for me the one game ive waited all year for is lousiville vs wvu. havent really gotten to see wvu against any real oppents. now i want to see if this is a paper champion or if the team is the real deal. So my question is who you guys think will win this game, and will the winner win the big east? Neither have a game this coming week so there both jsut preparing for nov 2 now. Plus are any of you going to watch this game since its a thursday night game?

Re: Nov 2nd. Who will win

I've gotta go with WVU. I still don't like the Mountaineers inability to dominate the teams they should dominate, and their tendancy to let off the throttle and let lesser teams stick around. But the Cardinals have not been impressive over the past few weeks, and they looked downright lousy against Syracuse on Saturday. That's why I'm predicting a 24-14 West Virginia win.

Re: Nov 2nd. Who will win

i think they will dominate early

I was feeling uneasy at the begining of the season about this game. But lousiville has proven nothing and wvu has proved their offense is as lethal as anyones in college

Re: Nov 2nd. Who will win

If anything, West Virginia should win big. Like both of you have said, Louisville hasn't shown much recently while West Virginia has proven why they should be a national contender.

But I wouldn't be surprised if it's close. However, I'm predicting the Mountaineers win by two scores....whether it be 6, 10 or 14....I don't know

Re: Nov 2nd. Who will win

Im curious to see how brohm will do with 2 weeks off after just getting done with rehab. Guys think this will have any effect on him, or the rest will do him good?

Re: Nov 2nd. Who will win

Depends what the problem is. If his injury is still effecting him, then the rest will do him good, but if its more timing than anything, the layoff won't help. Whatever the case, WVU needs to prepare as though he's 100% -- they can't let themselves get fooled by the past couple of weeks, 'cause you never know.
