one im mad cause this game wont be on in morgantown

two any school is going to play a top 5 team hard, so i see it being low scoring for the first half but the eer's pulling away to a safe 35-9 lead by the end of the game

Slaton will run wild, he had two full weeks to get healthy and now he is good to go and this is all leading up to nov 2 at papa johns stadium, i just cant see them losing till then

STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) -- West Virginia coach Rich Rodriguez used to be a win-is-a-win kind of coach. No more.

Not after his Mountaineers played their sloppiest game in memory, committing 11 penalties and allowing a moribund Mississippi State offense to threaten several times in West Virginia's 42-14 win Saturday.

"I tell these guys ... as long as we win, I don't care if it's by one point, I'm going to be happy," Rodriguez said. "I lied. I'm not happy."

Steve Slaton bailed out the Mountaineers (5-0) with 185 yards and a touchdown and Pat White rushed for two scores as West Virginia pulled away late to extend the nation's second-longest winning streak to 12 games.

But the defense needed two late interceptions deep in Mountaineers territory to secure the win as West Virginia kept three drives by Mississippi State (1-5) alive with penalties. In all, the Mountaineers were flagged for 132 yards.

"I'm disappointed in the way we played football, disgusted with the penalties and not very happy right now," Rodriguez said. "I'm happy with the win (against) the SEC on the road. We had some guys who played outstanding and we had some other guys who just don't get it."

Sounds like these guys are going to get their butts chewed this week in practice. I'm happy WVU pulled out the win, and glad to see Slaton and White had big games, but these guys have got to cut down on the stupid mistakes!

dont even get me started about this game.

First the game wasnt even on gameplan, i found out i had to buy it on ppv for 30 bucks, so i had like ten of my frat brothers here so it worked out to 3 a person but still.

Second the offensive line, makes the worst holding penealties ever, there not even hard to spot.

Third how in the hell do we rough the punter so much

four, what the hell would i do without slaton white, or smchidt cause or defense is brutal, the only reason why they didnt do well on offense is cause we hurt 3 of their qbs and nocked them out and they had to play their 4th stringer for the last 8 mins

Good Lord last time I bought a game it was 15 dollars on PPV. Glad I didn't buy one that stunk. BTW did it still have commericals?

sometimes it went to a blank screen and the other times it stayed all break and you just watched people stand there till the red ref got off the field
