| WVU wins Friends of Coal Bowl The West Virginia Mountaineers won the first ever "Friends of Coal Bowl" beating the Marshall Thundering Herd 42-10 on Saturday. RB Steve Slaton ran for over 200 yards and 2 TDs, and Pat White ran for 47 yards and threw a pair of touchdown passes in the victory. Good way for WVU to kick off the season, right Mountaineer fans?

| Re: WVU wins Friends of Coal Bowl you got it. i just felt bad i guess they sold some marshall fans tickets to the end of the student section on the upper level. they were getting heckled bad. |
