| MRI confirms Wizards' Butler has sprained ankle (AP) Washington Wizards forward Caron Butler had an MRI on Wednesday that revealed no serious damage to his injured left ankle. The MRI confirmed the initial diagnosis of a sprain and he will continue to be listed as day-to-day. Butler hurt the ankle during the loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Christmas.
