ORLANDO, Fla. – The SuperSonics have contacted Washington Wizards assistant general manager Tommy Sheppard about Seattle’s vacant GM position, according to two league sources... Sheppard is the fourth candidate identified by The News Tribune. The others who have spoken with team president Lenny Wilkens are John Gabriel, a scout for Portland; Gary Fitzsimmons, the assistant GM of the Atlanta Hawks; and Sam Presti, the assistant GM of the San Antonio Spurs... Sheppard, at the league’s predraft camp at Disney’s sports complex, declined to comment.
