Re: Redskins stink

Sorry to be so blunt with the title, Redskins fans, but how else can you describe Washington's preseason incompetence and still do it justice? Consider that they're now 0-3 in the preseason and fresh off a 41-0 thrashing at the hands of the New England Patriots. Consider also that, according to the recap linked to above, Washington "gave up three times as many yards (464) as they gained (154)" and that "Mark Brunell... hasn't led a scoring drive in any of his 11 preseason possessions."

What in the world is wrong with this team?

Re: Redskins stink

It's still early! Let's see how they do against the Vikings tomorrow. There have been a lot of injuries thus far, and Al Saunders has said that he is not showing very much of his offense. Still, I'm wondering why the defense has been struggling----?

Re: Redskins stink

How bad was the preseason for the 0-4 Washington Redskins?

In his article Redskins figure out ways to say 'So what?' over 0-4 preseason, AP Sports writer Joseph White calls it "one of the worst preseasons in franchise history... Final score: Opponents 104, Redskins 27. Washington's points were its fewest since at least 1961, the earliest year for which team preseason records are available... The starting offense never scored, never even got into the red zone." So what kind of regular season is this team going to have? Can they get it together?

Re: Redskins stink

Should we hand the NFC East to the Eagles now or wait till november?

Re: Redskins stink

lol, who could have guessed the NFC East would be so cluttered with creepy teams. The Eagles and Cowboys don't look like they're ready to dominate. The Redskins are once again, not playing to their potential. And the Giants seemingly forgot how to play defense.

Will any team step up and take the division in the second quarter of the year?

Skins will take a big step in that direction today with a win over Jacksonville.

Re: Redskins stink

What an uplifting win as well. Then again we say what uplilfting wins do for teams when the Giants got destroyed by the Seahawks after the dramatic comeback in Philly so watch out!

Re: Redskins stink

The 'Skins have so much talent but it seems year after year they fail to mesh it together. Last year was a surprise to me with the playoff run but I don't see them doing anything big time on a consistant basis.
