Running back Kerry Carter, one of two Canadian players trying to make the Washington Redskins, is out for the year with a knee injury. It's a shame, too, because RB coach Ernest Byner called him "one of my better students and he translates what he learns to the field quickly... Kerry has the tools to contribute to an NFL team." So its unfortunate, but it sounds like the kid will have a chance again somewhere down the road, right?
