Washington Post's Jason LaCanfora reports the Redskins have signed second-round TE Fred Davis to a four-year deal.
The Mackey Award winner will get $1.8 million in bonus money and the deal is worth $3.5 million overall. Davis, buried behind starter Chris Cooley, will have to prove himself as a blocker before gaining significant playing time. The 'Skins released long-injured tight end Tyler Ecker to make room for Davis.

I'd expect a lot of two-TE sets with these two in the fold. Zorn has to have had a reason for drafting a tight end so high.
