Moss partied too hardy

Santana Moss missed Monday's OTA and said he had the flu.
He came clean on Tuesday. He was sick but had spent the weekend celebrating his birthday, which was on Sunday.
Between this and the Fred Davis thing, it would appear Jim Zorn runs a looser camp than his predecessor.

ProFootballTalk.com - SANTANA MOSS PARTIED TOO HARD TO MAKE MONDAY’S PRACTICE

Oh yeah, the good old 24 hour flu.

maybe but not where he's missing his responsibilities, what does that show the rest of your team? He needs all the practice he can get after the 2 past seasons being mediocre..

Nah, Seahawker, I disagree immediately. Could YOU call off your job because of a hangover with zero repercussions? I know I couldn't. It's a dumb thing for him to do, especially since he's supposed to be a veteran presence at this point in his career. By the way, am I the only one who now thinks this team is going to totally crash and burn without Gibbs?

Disagree also Seahawker. They need leadership from their veteran presence. That means being responsible. He'll have another birthday next year. Right now his main concern is being at practice.

No. The Camp Cupcake approach only goes so far.

He's not bad at all. He's just been injured.

I think we have a tendency to expect too much too soon out of these young quarterbacks. This is what, his 3rd year in the NFL and he started only in two of them. And he was injured last season.
He probably never will be a Tom Brady or a Peyton Manning. But he sure isnt any Ryan Leaf either.
He still needs a little time.
