Portis is a three-time 1,500 yard rusher, but says he'll take less carries if it'll help the team win more. Who knew a guy with such goofy getups could be such a team player? What do you guys think of the Redskins running back?

I think you gotta read between the lines...he is saying, "hey guys get your crap together, get a QB, and get me some help, or these pro bowl legs of mine are not about to take a pounding for a freakin losing franchise."...I think that is what he is trying to say, in a nice way.

In other words, he will take more carries if his team loses more. He isn't being a team player...he is just explaining to the fans his philosophy so they can't say he is selfish for taking some many carries.

Who do you think Clinton Portis will dress up like for Week One?
