Its not by spending money in free agency like a drunken sailor with not much to show for it. (As in lets sign Deon Sanders--he's a star!)
The Redskins have been wallflowers in the free agency dance this year.
Instead,the starters are signed for next year and the Redskins appear to be ready to focus on the draft.

Restraint is often the smartest move. Get a few role players here and there, maybe one big money guy tops. Still, have the Skins done enough to be competitive? They're in an awful tough division.
