Redskins hire St. Olaf coach Chris Meidt

St. Olaf coach Chris Meidt, who led one of the top offenses in small-college football in recent seasons, has resigned to take an assistant coaching job with the NFL's Washington Redskins.
In six seasons at St. Olaf, an NCAA Division III school in Northfield, Meidt took a program that had struggled for two decades and helped turn it into one of the best in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

I played for Meidt. He is an offesive guru. He knows his stuff. If you really know the game of football it doesn't matter where you come from. Meidt will do great.
