Rumor:Mariucci to the Redskins??

I have read in a couple of different places that Steve Mariucci and the Redskins could be interested in each other, but I have not been able to verify it.
Mariucci could be looking for a job now that his NFL money has run out, his Detroit Lions contract ends this month.

Redskins seems to pretty much be grasping at straws now. They could certainly do worse than Mooch but they could do better too.

The guy from SI (King) said Mooch really wants to get back into coaching. The favorite for Washington is still Fassel although Mooch is somewhat in play.

I have never been a big fan of his, and he didn't do himself any favors by not making Detroit any better. I would go with Fassel.
