The Washington Post is reporting that Redskins defensive coordinator Gregg Williams - once thought to be a candidate to replace retired head coach Joe Gibbs - is being let go by Washington owner Daniel Snyder. Apparently so has offensive coordinator Al Saunders, according to the report (which makes sense, considering the Zorn hiring). Anyone else as shocked by this as I am?

I'm not shocked by Saunders, but wasn't Williams supposed to be head and now he is out of a job. Did I miss something here

If you did, I missed it too. I guess Snyder is completely cleaning house in the coaching ranks.

If you can figure out what Snyder is doing, let me know. He hires his coordinators before he hires a head coach???? This guy has no clue. He's more impulsive than George Steinbrenner ever was. With Joe Gibbs there, it stayed quiet, but now that he's gone, lookout.

I thought it was the coach that hired the coaching staff???

Why would he hire an offensive coordinator before he got rid of the old one. This man makes no sense.
