Four people have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor.

Miami-Dade police department spokeswoman Linda O'Brien identified those arrested as: Venjah K. Hunte, 20; Eric Rivera Jr., 17; Jason Scott Mitchell, 17; and Charles Kendrick Lee Wardlow, 18.

Police say the suspects did not plan to kill Taylor and didn't even think he would be home when they planned to burglarize his house. At least two suspects have confessed, police say.

Although it is still not clear whether Taylor knew any of the suspects, police indicated at least one of those arrested had been to Taylor's house before the murder.

It would seem to make sense. If you are going to someone's house to kill someone, as all the theories have been, you empty the gun into them, not shoot them in the leg and then get "lucky" that you hit an artery. Hopefully these are the guys and there is some measure of justice now.

One report said one of the guys mowed Taylor's lawn and another of the kids had been to Taylor's home recently at a birthday party.

It's such a shame.

So they break into the home (for the 2nd time?) and head to the main bedroom. They enter and see Sean Taylor standing with a machete. So they shoot twice, hitting him once and then run away.
