Redskins vs Bills

this week we have the Redskins vs the Bills

i see this as a must win for the Redskins if they hope to salvage any part of their season and not let it look like a total loss ........ this is a game they should win, and as such they must

Re: Redskins vs Bills

Even though I'm a Cowboys fan, I think the Redskins take this game today. I'm sure a lot of players just wanna get out and let loose. The Bills are gonna go down. I get to see this game, since I get Baltimore/DC area channels, and PHilly Stations, on my cable system.

Re: Redskins vs Bills

Interesting way to honor Taylor.

From Rotoworld: "The Redskins opened with only ten men on defense Sunday in honor of Sean Taylor. The Redskins didn't start with a free safety and Fred Jackson ran for 22 yards on the play. He was tackled by 'Skins strong safety LaRon Landry."

It was tough to play after not one, but both owners died for the Giants last year. I can't begin to imagine what it's like to play today for the Redskins.

Re: Redskins vs Bills

Yeah, Fox announced that the Skins were planning on doing this.

Bradshaw said that it would've been classy had the Bills just taken a knee on the play. Guess they didn't.

Cool Re: Redskins vs Bills

Joe Gibbs should walk away. The man makes millions of dollars a year and doesn't even know the rules.

Quote:
But, on this of all days, a major gaffe by Hall of Fame coach Joe Gibbs played a key role in leaving Washington's players disconsolate at the final whistle.

Lindell made a 51-yard attempt that didn't count because Gibbs called timeout just as the ball was snapped. Gibbs then called another timeout as Lindell lined up a second time, but consecutive timeouts aren't allowed in the NFL -- and they result in a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty when specifically called to freeze the kicker.

The penalty gave Lindell a much easier kick in the rain. His game-winner extended his streak to 17 consecutive made field goals, tying the franchise record.

Gibbs said he asked an official if it was OK to call a second timeout, and the coach thought the official said yes. Still, the harried moments of a game's final seconds are hardly a good time to be learning the rule book.

"There's nobody to blame but myself," Gibbs said. "I should have known the rule."

This is why you stay retired once you walk away.

Re: Redskins vs Bills

I thought it was cool how they only played 10 people on defense, and ST 's spirit was the 11th
