Clinton Portis Dress-Up Time Is Back

We have a new Clinton Portis character to add to the collection. Dan Steinberg reports at the D.C. Sports Bog that Portis showed up today as Choo-Choo. And here's what Steinberg has to say about the backstory of the Choo-Choo character:
Something about him teaching Portis how to dance, and Moss how to dance, and Randle El how to dance. "I taught these boys how to dance," was the gist. A lot of it was unintelligible, and involved jerky dance-like demonstrations and third person referrals to "Clinton Portis," but hey, we'll take it.
The previous Portis characters include Dolamite Jenkins, who urged people to vote for Santana Moss for NFC offensive player of the week, and Sherriff Gonna Getcha, who wanted Ronde Barber for questioning in the disappearance of Southeast Jerome. The full list is here.

I agree Vince. Great stuff!!!! For all of you old people out there, it's no different than Ali back in the talking how he was the greatest. It's a persona thing. Larger than life characters.

Please, in terms of being a showman, Portis is nowhere close to Ali's league. Just cause he dresses up funny doesn't make him Ali-esque.

Yep. Ali was an original showman, and had a quick witt. I miss him hyping a fight. No one hyped one like him. "It's gonna be a chilla, and a trilla, when I get the gorilla in Manilla." Joe Frazier never forgave him.

I believe you may have something there. Some of their games are pretty crappy too. But I look for them to continue to improve, dont you???
