Redskins owner Dan Snyder gave a ridiculous explanation as to why he feels his team doesn't need a general manager. Said Snyder: "If you look at Joe Gibbs' [NASCAR] racing team, there's no GM. There's no reason to have a general manager with less experience [than Gibbs] to tell him how not to do it.'' Comparing NASCAR to the NFL is like comparing, well, apples to oranges. And while Gibbs is a Hall of Fame coach, he's never been much of a talent evaluator.
