Word coming out of Redskins camp is that safety Sean Taylor is leaner and in the best shape of his NFL career, and that he has had little trouble adjusting to playing a true free-safety position. In fact, he's earned nothing but praise from coaches and teammates.
"I've said before he's the best athlete I've ever seen - now he's a better athlete," says assistant coach Gregg Williams. "It's amazing how even he found a way to improve." Running back Clinton Portis took it a step further, proclaiming Taylor, "Defensive player of the year. ... You're going to see some picks. You're going to see some heads getting knocked off. You're going to see some receivers retire. You're going to see everything you've been looking for."
