Several collectibles and pieces of jewelry, including a pendant that looks like the top of a Super Bowl ring, were stolen from the Ashburn home of Washington Redskins running backs coach Earnest Byner this month, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said yesterday.
During the first week of July, a juvenile male was watching Byner's house, authorities said. They did not say whether he was home when, that same week, another juvenile male and an adult male entered the house and stole the property.
Byner, a running back for the Redskins, Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens from 1984 to 1997, also reported that a Rolex watch, a pair of diamond earrings, a gold ring with a cross, a tennis bracelet and several collectible figurines were stolen.
